Abstract
Abstract A ferrite mode suppressor for magnetrons having a ferrite annular member affixed in a region of a magnetron cavity where the radiofrequency magnetic field of a competing mode is strong and where the radiofrequency magnetic field of the pi -mode is weak to suppress or absorb the competing mode or modes.
