Abstract
Abstract On a backing support a data carrier adheres magnetically, wherein one of said two members comprises a foil carrying a layer permanently magnetized in pattern of strips of alternately differing polarity. The foil may have two coating layers on its face either one of which can function as a data carrier or backing support. The magnetizable layer may contain ferrite powder in an organic binder.
