Abstract PROCESS FOR PREPARING FIBERS OF THE POLYESTER SERIES HAVING DIFFERENT DYEABILITY, CHARACTERIZED BY SUBJECTING FIBERS OF THE POLYESTER SERIES TO A NON-CONTACT HEAT TREATMENT MOMENTARILY UNDER VERY LOW TENSION IN THE ATMOSPHERE KEPT AT A TEMPERATURE ABOVE THE MELTING POINT OF SAID FIBERS, WHEREBY REMARKABLE DIFFERENT DYEABILITY IS IMPARTED TO THE FIBERS ALONG THE FIBER LENGTH DIRECTION.
