Abstract AN IMPROVED STABLE POLYVINYL ACETATE CONTAINING AQUEOUS EMULSION WHEREIN A VINYL ACETATE COPPLYMER BASE IS OVERPOLYMERIZED BY AT LEAST ONE ETHYLENICALLY UNSATURATED MONOMER OTHER THAN VINYL ACETATE IN SUFFICIENT QUANTITIES TO SUBSTANTIALLY PREVENT THE VINYL ACETATE CONSITUENT FROM HYDROLYZING.
