Abstract
Abstract The durability and hand of a soil release finish on a textile are improved by adding a plasticizer to it. The finish is a water insoluble but highly water swellable polymer, i.e., one which absorbs at least 550 percent by weight of water when immersed for 2 minutes in an aqueous detergent solution at 140* F.
