Abstract
Abstract Three lightning arresters including a characteristic element in series with gaps are disposed in individual parallel openings within a single insulating housing with their longitudinal axes located at apices of a regular triangle. The openings are closed at one end on the incoming-line side by the end portion of the housing through which three terminals are sealed to be connected to the respective arresters and in which one annular metallic shield is embedded so as to be connected to each terminal.
