Abstract

Abstract A leveling system for maintaining a motor vehicle body at an established height above the ground including a shock absorber with a concentric coil spring. An annular spring seat engages one end of the coil spring and is slidable on the shock absorber. The seat also forms a part of an expansible chamber that may be pressurized to increase the load on the coil spring and compensate for a change in vehicle loading.
