Abstract POROUS SINTERED AMODES SUITABLE FOR USE IN ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITORS OF THE WET OR SOLID TYPE ARE PRODUCTED BY MIXING A HIGH PERCENTAGE OF AN INORGANIC FILTER WITH A CONVENTIONAL TANTALUM POWDER AND THEN HEATING THE MIXTURE SO AS TO EVAPORATE THE INORGANIC FILLER AND CASUE A SINTERING OF THE TANTALUM PARTICLES.
