Abstract
Abstract A propellant charge for a telescoped round of caseless ammunition is provided with a gas barrier which separates the propellant charge into a forward-end and an aft-end. The gas barrier temporarily delays ignition of the forward-end of the propellent charge resulting in improved ballistic performance for the caseless round.
