Abstract
Abstract Lubricating oil compositions comprising essentially a major amount of lubricating oil and a minor amount of a mixture of basic group II metal salts of aromatic carboxylic acids and naphthenic acids have improved oxidation stability and antirust properties. The composition optionally contains zinc dialkyldithiophosphate.
