Abstract A METHOD OF PRESS BENDING GLASS SHEETS WHICH EMPLOYS AN APPARATUS INCLUDING MOLD MEMBERS SUPPORTED FOR MOVEMENT TOWARD AND AWAY FROM ONE ANOTHER AND HAVING COMPLEMENTAL, CURVED SHAPING SURFACES, MEANS FOR CONVEYING FLAT GLASS SHEETS ALONG A PATH ABOVE SAID MOLD MEMBERS WITH A PIVOTAL SECTION ADAPTED TO LOCATE A GLASS SHEET BETWEEN THE MOLD MEMBERS AND TO REMOVE THE SAME AFTER THE BENDING OPERATION.
