Abstract

Abstract The type head of a typewriter or like business machine is turned about perpendicular axes by two incremental links in order to place a character selected by actuation of a key, in a printing position. Each incremental link is placed in a plurality of angular positions by two eccentric means which are coupled or disengaged from two drive shafts under the control of electromagnetic means energized by key switches.
