Abstract
Abstract AN APPARATUS FOR STRIPPING FLEXIBLE TUBES FROM MANDRELS ON WHICH THEY ARE CURED. THE BOND AT THE INTERFACE BETWEEN THE TUBE AND THE MANDREL IS BROKEN BY INJECTING A LIQUID AT HIGH PRESSURE INTO THE INTERFACE WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY MASSAGING THE OUTER SURFACE OF THE TUBE. ONCE THE BOND IS BROKEN, IT IS POSSIBLE TO AXIALLY DISPLACE THE MANDREL WITH A PNEUMATIC RAM.
