Abstract Wound-healing compositions comprising calcium and magnesium slats of citric, phosphoric and lactic acid, and mixtures of the foregoing with chitin are described as well as methods of promoting healing of wounds, and the process of producing eggshells reacted with citric, phosphoric or lactic acid.
