Abstract
Abstract Alkaline protease is prepared by culturing a selected microorganism of the species Bacillus subtilis, variety licheniformis in a nutrient medium optionally in the presence of cottonseed protein, and thereafter separating the alkaline protease thereby produced from said medium.
