Abstract APPARATUS FOR FREEZING LIQUID IN A SECTION A PIPE WHICH INCLUDES A SUPPLY LINE LEADING FROM A CONTAINER OF LIQUIFIED GAS ALONG A LENGTH OF A PIPE IN WHICH FLUID IS FLOWING AND MEANS FOR JACKETING THE SUPPLY LINE IN SEALED RELATION ABOUT THE SECTION OF THE PIPE SO THAT THE LIQUIFIED GAS MAY BE CAUSED TO FLOW THROUGH THE JACKET TO EXTRACT HEAT AND RAPIDLY FREEZE THE SECTION OF THE PIPE.
