Abstract
Abstract A folded slot antenna comprising a sheet of conductive material folded upon itself and having a bow tie shaped slot arranged symmetrically about the bend of the fold on the surface of the sheet. This antenna structure can be flush mounted, for example, in the leading edge of the horizontal stabilizer or of the dorsal fin of an aircraft.
