Abstract
Abstract A system providing a computer-compatible record bearing information signals with parity indication therefor and bearing further parity indication in the absence of recorded information signals. Alternately operating apparatus provide such continuous parity indication, one apparatus being responsive to record movement and thus permitting elimination of incremental tape movement apparatus.
