Abstract
Abstract A transformerless frequency doubler with superior high-frequency performance takes the form of a resistive voltage divider connected across the driving source to supply a first wave in the form of a full-wave signal, a half-wave rectifier connected to the driving source to supply a second wave in the form of half cycles of the signal at a magnitude substantially twice the magnitude of the half cycles of the first wave, and a common-base transistor stage connected to combine the two waves in phase opposition across a resistor to provide a full-wave rectified output.
