Abstract
Abstract Sulfonylamino pyrimidine derivatives of the formula WHEREIN R is lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, lower-alkoxy-loweralkoxy, cycloalkyl or cycloalkoxy having five or six carbon atoms, or phenyl; R1 is hydrogen or lower alkyl; R2, R3, and R4 are members of the group consisting of hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, lower alkanoyl, lower alkanoyl-amino, trifluoromethyl, halogen, aminocarbonyl, benzyloxy, lower alkenyloxy, and phenyl; N IS 1 OR 2; AND X is a carbon-to-carbon bond or CH2, and the salts of the derivatives with physiologically tolerated bases lower the blood sugar level in warm-blooded animals.
