Abstract
Abstract An apparatus and method for simultaneously treating and conveying containerlike workpieces in which the workpieces are introduced and entrained in aligned orientation in a confined stream of a selected treating fluid and are subsequently extracted therefrom and whereafter, if desired, the workpieces are successively introduced into separate succeeding confined streams of alternative selected treating fluids to effect a multiple stage treatment thereof.

Independent Claim
25 words
The method as defined in claim 1, including the further step of recirculating of at least a portion of said treating fluid to said stream.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
54 words
The method as defined in claim 1, including the further steps of forming a plurality of separate confined streams each composed of a separate treating fluid and successively introducing a workpiece into and extracting a workpiece from each of said separate streams in a preselected sequence for performing a plural treatment on the workpiece.
Claim 3
