Abstract AN APERTURE SETTING AND SHUTTER TIMING CONTROL DEVICE FOR USE IN PHOTOGRAPHIC CAMERAS. THE DEVICE COMPRISING A PHOTOSENSITIVE CIRCUIT INCLUDING AN EXPOSURE METER POINTER ADAPTED TO BE CLAMPED INTO POSITION ON THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE EXPOSURE SEQUENCE AND IS ADAPTED TO BE SCANNED BY A MECHANICAL DEVICE WHICH SETS AN APPROPRIATE IRIS DIAPHRAGM APERTURE AND, WHEN THE DIAPHRAGM APERTURE IS AT ITS MAXIMUM OPENING, THE EXPOSURE TIME OF THE SHUTTER IS REGULATED.
