Abstract

Abstract Improved process for metallizing various plastic materials, including shaped vinyl chloride polymer and acrylonitrilebutadiene-styrene polymer articles, which includes using as the sensitizing solution in the known metallization process a solution which contains at least one tin IV salt dissolved therein in addition to the tin II and other conventional components. The sensitizing solution is itself disclosed and claimed.
