Abstract
Abstract Liquid hydrocarbons may be increased in viscosity to a desired degree by combining the liquid with a gelling composition of the general formula MOR and M''(OR'')3 where M is a Group I metal and M'' is a group III metal. R and R'' are independently selected from C1 to C25 hydrocarbyl radicals.
