Abstract DEVICE FOR MAKING FOOTWEAR WHEREIN THE MOLD IS EQUIPPED WITH A MOLD CAVITY HAVING A SHAPE CORRESPONDING TO THE SHAPE DESIRED FOR A FINISHED SHOE UPPER. THE DEVICE INCLUDES ALSO SUPPORT MEANS FOR SUPPORTING THE BLANK WITH A MARGINAL PORTION EXTENDING OUTWARDLY THROUGH THE OPEN SIDE. FINALLY, THE DEVICE ALSO INCLUDES THE FORMING MEANS ARRANGED WITHIN THE CAVITY AND ADAPTED TO DEFORM THE MAIN BODY PORTION OF THE BLANK INTO CONFORMITY WITH THE SHAPE OF THE CAVITY.
