Abstract
Abstract A means for regulating a magnetron power supply in which a portion of the magnetron power is used to energize a lamp. As the power increases the lamp will glow brighter. A photocell senses the glow of the lamp to decrease in resistance as the lamp glows brighter. The photocell is in the circuit of the transformer primary where its changing resistance will cause a correction in the voltage being fed to the magnetron.
