Abstract
Abstract A method of burning and an incinerator using a semiclosed system including an enclosure having a thin covering of thermal conductive, substantially nonporous and abrasion resistant glassceramic material so that part of the heat generated within the incinerator may be transferred through the covering to the atmosphere and part of the heat is reused within the system to heat makeup air being added to the system to support the burning with the enclosure.
