Abstract THE INVENTION IS AN INSTRUMENT FOR INDICATING HORSEPOWER OUTPUT OF AN ENGINE PARTICULARLY AN AIRCRAFT ENGINE IN RESPONSE TO SPEED OF THE ENGINE, MANIFOLD INTAKE PRESSURE AND DENSITY ALTITUDE. THE INSTRUMENT IS OF A DIAL TYPE WITH AN INDICATING POINTER WHICH MOVES OVER A GRADUATED CHART SCALE ON THE DIAL SO THAT PERCENTAGE HORSEPOWER CAN BE READ DIRECTLY.
