Abstract A FLASHING CAP RECEIVER IS DESCRIBED WHICH HAS A RECEIVING CHAMBER FORMED BY A PAIR OF HORIZONTAL PORTIONS ONE OF WHICH HAS A MEDIAN PROTRUSION PORTION EXTENDING TOWARD THE OTHER HORIZONTAL PORTION. THE CHAMBER IS ADAPTED TO RECEIVE AND HOLD A FLASHING CAP MEMBER HAVING A BENT OVER END LIP WHOSE WIDTH IS NO GREATER THAN THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE PROTRUSION AND THE BACK OF THE CHAMBER.
