Abstract
Abstract A process for the preparation of a cyclic alcohol by air oxidation of a cycloaliphatic compound to a mixture containing 130 percent by weight cycloaliphatic hydroperoxide, oxidizing cycloolefin by means of the cycloaliphatic hydroperoxide, hydrogenating the resulting product, and recovering cyclic alcohol and unconverted cycloaliphatic compound for recycle.
