Abstract

Abstract A steam cooled nuclear reactor power plant having an improved thermopresser capable of part load operation. In a steam thermopresser in which water droplets are injected into flowing superheated steam, a system is provided by which waterflow can be decreased as steam flow decreases, while maintaining an optimum thermopresser throat configuration at any flow rate.
