Abstract A DEVICE FOR ADAPTING A PAIR OF TYPICAL BARBER SCISSORS TO A TYPICAL VACUUM FAN HAVING A SUITABLE RESERVOIR FOR COLLECTING THE ACCUMULATION OF CLIPPINGS OF HAIR. THE DEVICE INCLUDES AN ELONGATED TUBULAR MEMBER HAVING AT THE ONE END A MOUTHLIKE PORTION ADJACENT AND SECURED TO THE ONE BLADE OF THE SCISSORS WITH THE OTHER END TERMINATING AT A SWIVEL CONNECTOR AND A FLANGE MEMBER ATTACHED TO THE OTHER BLADE WHICH INCREASES AND DECREASES THE SIZE OF THE MOUTH AS THE SCISSORS ARE OPENED AND CLOSED RESPECTIVELY.
