Abstract AN ANTISKID CONTROL FOR A PUMP POWERED HYDRAULIC BRAKE INCLUDING A VALVE IN EACH BRACK LINE FOR CUTTING OFF BRAKE PRESSURE AND RELEASING THE PRESSURE IN RESPONSE TO A WHEEL DECELERATIN THRESHOLD SIGNAL. EACH VALVE IS MOVABLE BY A HYDRAULIC ACTUATOR HAVING A MOVABLE PARTITION FORMING TWO CHAMBERS. THE BRAKE BOOSTER MAY BE CONNECTED TO EITHER CHAMBER TO OPEN OR CLOSE THE VALVE DEPENDING ON THE DECELERATION SIGNAL.
