Abstract A CONDUIT IN WHICH AN ELECTRICAL CABLE OR THE LIKE IS TO BE INSTALLED HAS RUPTURABLE CONTAINERS OF LUBRICANT INSTALLED THEREIN. THE CONTAINERS ARE BROKEN DURING INSTALLATION OF THE ELECTRICAL CABLE THEREBY RELEASING THE LUBRICANT IN THE CONDUIT AND REDUCING THE FRICTION OF THE ELECTRICAL CABLE AND OTHERWISE FACILITATING PULLING OF THE CABLE THROUGH THE CONDUIT.
