Abstract COVERS A HEAT FLUX PROBE FOR OBSERVING OR MEASURING THE RATE AT WHICH HEAT IS DISSIPATED TO AN EXTERNAL BODY OR SPACE. THE PROBE INCLUDES TWO SPACED UNITS AND A NON-CONDUCTIVE CASE WHICH CONFINES BOTH UNITS EXCEPT A FACE OF ONE OF THE UNITS WHICH IS TO BE EXPOSED TO THE EXTERNAL BODY OR SPACE. HEAT IS SUPPLIED TO HOTH UNITS SO AS TO HOLD THEM CONTINUALLY AT THE SAME TEMPERATURE.
