Abstract

Abstract In a remote control system transmitted acoustic control signal waves are received by remotely located apparatus, amplified and detected for control of circuits in the apparatus. A noise detector circuit is provided to determine the presence of amplitude variations in the amplified signals. When amplitude variations are detected, disabling means are actuated to attenuate the energy applied to the desired control signal detector circuits.
