Claims Analysis
Total Claims: 6
Claim 1
Independent Claim
16 words
The invention as described in claim 1 wherein said plastic material comprises a hard-setting epoxy adhesive.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
21 words
The invention as described in claim 2 wherein said layer of powder on the ends of said electrical conductor comprises silver.
Claim 3
Independent Claim
89 words
A method of making an electrically conductive bond between conductors located on opposite sides of an insulated layer comprising the steps of: a. Forming an opening through the insulated layer and the conductors; b. forcing a hard-setting plastic conductive material into the opening; c. removing excess plastic conductive material from the opening; d. compressing conductive metal powder into a substantially solid layer over each end of the opening and into contact with the respective conductor on opposite sides of said insulating layer; and e. curing the plastic conductive material.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
28 words
The process as described in claim 4 wherein the step of forcing a hard-setting conductor into the opening comprises forcing epoxy resin impregnated with silver into the opening.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
19 words
The process of claim 5 including the step of curing the plastic conductive material while it is being compressed.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
22 words
The process of claim 6 including the step of oscillating the insulated layer as the conductive material is forced into the openings.
