Abstract THIS APPLICATION DISCLOSES A PROCESS OF PREPARING A SELFSUPPORTING SHAPED STRUCTRUE WHICH COMPRISES POLYMERIZING A SOLID PHASE MONOMER IN THE PRESENCE OF A FLUID CATALYST. SPECIFICALLY, TRIOXANE IS MIXED WITH A RESINOUS BINDER AND THEN POLYMERIZED IN THE PRESENCE OF BRON FLUORIDE. ALSO DISCLOSED IS THE COPOLYMERIZATION OF TRIOXANE WITH DIEPOXIDES.
