Abstract
Abstract A high efficiency multivibrator circuit uses four transistors arranged in the form of a bridge with two of the transistors connected in series with the load and selectively biased to saturation to provide a current to the load. A second pair of transistors is also connected in series with the load to provide current of opposite polarity thereto, and are biased to saturation while the first pair if biased to nonconduction. The alternate pairs of transistors are alternately biased to saturation by multivibrator action to alternately connect the power supply across the load with opposite polarities.
