Abstract
Abstract An electronic musical instrument includes an expression pedal device for controlling the tone volume of the musical tone signal. The device further operably cooperates with a detector for detecting the operation of the expression pedal and generating an electric signal. A driving pulse generator which generates a driving pulse upon receipt of the output electric signal from the detector; and a percussion sound generator which generates percussion sound signals in response to the driving pulse. Percussion sounds are produced according to the operation of the expression pedal.
