Abstract

Abstract A thermal apparatus for fixing thermoplastic resinous powder which has an improved heating surface whereon numerous specifically patterned and arranged fine recesses and protuberances are formed. The specific recesses and protuberances are very effective for eliminating accidental transfer of a resinous layer, to be fixed on an article''s surface, onto the heating surface. The thermal fixing apparatus is useful for electrophotography, electrostatic printing, powder-painting, powder-photogravure and powder-screen printing.
