Abstract A THERMOELECTRIC DEVICE FOR GENERATING ELECTRIC CURRENT INCLUDING A TELLURIDE THERMOELECTRIC BODY BONDED TO A CONDUCTIVE BODY OF MATERIAL. A BARRIER LAYER IS DISPOSED BETWEEN THE TWO BODIES, AND CONDUCTIVE TUNGSTEN GRANULES PENETRATE THIS BARRIER LAYER TO BOND TOGETHER THE TWO BODIES AND FORM LOW-RESISTANCE CONDUCTIVE PATHS BETWEEN THEM THROUGH THE BARRIER LAYER.
