Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 7
Claim 1
Independent Claim 69 words
A process for producing a profiled cellular insole unit which comprises the steps of compressing a flexible, open cell, coherent insole unit blank consisting of plasticized polyvinyl chloride material to introduce a predetermined profile to the blank, and, while maintaining the blank so compressed subjecting the same to a field of radio frequency electrical energy and then setting the same whereby the profile is retained intrinsically of the blank.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 29 words
A process according to claim 2 wherein the blank is compressed in a cross-sectional dimension while being maintained in a planar dimensional shape initially present in the insole blank.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 30 words
A process according to claim 2 wherein the blank is compressed while superimposing an insole bottom member comprising a resin impregnated sheet having the planar shape of the insole blank.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 46 words
A method according to claim 2 wherein the blank is compressed while interposed between an insole bottom member of resin impregnated sheet material, and a top sheet of thermoplastic synthetic polymeric material, the bottom member and top sheet having the planar shape of the insole blank.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 34 words
A method according to claim 5 wherein the blank includes an insert member of predetermined thickness which is effectively resistant to change in state when subjected to a field of radio frequency electrical field.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 15 words
A method according to claim 6 wherein the insert member is comprised of polyurethane foam.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 13 words
A method according to claim 6 wherein the insert is a foam rubber.
