Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 6
Claim 1
Independent Claim 94 words
A mount for an optical element comprising: a. support means, and b. pad means resting on top of said support means, said pad means including a base portion and a plurality of elongated springlike members extending upward from closely spaced points on said base portion providing the sole support for said optical elements, said points being spaced so that the members from any one of said points are out of contact with the members from adjacent points, the outward ends of the members being turned over to form curved extremities engaging the optical element.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 94 words
A mount for an optical element comprising: a. support means, and b. pad means resting on top of said support means, said pad means including a base portion and a plurality of elongated springlike members extending upward from closely spaced points on said base portion providing the sole support for said optical elements, said points being spaced so that the members from any one of said points are out of contact with the members from adjacent points, the outward ends of the members being turned over to form curved extremities engaging the optical element.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 34 words
The mount of claim 1 in which said support means comprises a base, and a plurality of blocks mounted on said base and positioned so as to form a seat for said optical element.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 34 words
The mount of claiM 1 in which said support means comprises a flexible strap forming a seat for supporting the optical element, said pad means being disposed on the top surface of the strap
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 102 words
In an optical element mount wherein the top surface of one member forms a seat for at least a portion of the optical element being supported thereby, the improvement comprising a plurality of elongated springlike members extending upward from closely spaced points on said surface for supporting said optical element and eliminating static friction between said optical element and said member, said points being spaced so that the members from any one of said points are out of contact with the members from adjacent points, the outward ends of the members being turned over to form curved extremities engaging the optical element.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 102 words
In an optical element mount wherein the top surface of one member forms a seat for at least a portion of the optical element being supported thereby, the improvement comprising a plurality of elongated springlike members extending upward from closely spaced points on said surface for supporting said optical element and eliminating static friction between said optical element and said member, said points being spaced so that the members from any one of said points are out of contact with the members from adjacent points, the outward ends of the members being turned over to form curved extremities engaging the optical element.
