Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 11
Claim 1
Independent Claim 67 words
A corrugated microporous filter element having a maximum pore diameter of 25 microns, comprising a porous substrate sheet formed in corrugation folds having bases with a radius of curvature of at least 0.025 inch and of a porosity at least 10 percent less than the porosity of all remaining areas of the sheet, and a microporous layer laid down on said sheet by fluid deposition after corrugation.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 67 words
A corrugated microporous filter element having a maximum pore diameter of 25 microns, comprising a porous substrate sheet formed in corrugation folds having bases with a radius of curvature of at least 0.025 inch and of a porosity at least 10 percent less than the porosity of all remaining areas of the sheet, and a microporous layer laid down on said sheet by fluid deposition after corrugation.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 20 words
A corrugated microporous filter element in accordance with claim 1 wherein the microporous layer is coated on the substrate sheet.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 23 words
A corrugated microporous filter element in accordance with claim 2 wherein the microporous layer is supported within the pores of the substrate sheet.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 26 words
A corrugated microporous filter element in accordance with claim 2 wherein the microporous layer is coated on and supported within the pores of the substrate sheet.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 24 words
A corrugated microporous filter element in accordance with claim 2 wherein the microporous layer is adhered to the substrate sheet by a bonding agent.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 21 words
A corrugated microporous filter element in accordance with claim 5 wherein the microporous layer is in admixture with a particulate material.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 23 words
A corrugated microporous filter element in accordance with claim 2 wherein the microporous layer comprises at least 25 percent fibrous material by weight.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 17 words
A corrugated microporous filter element in accordance with claim 1 wherein the substrate sheet is a paper.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 18 words
A corrugated microporous filter element in accordance with claim 1 wherein the substrate sheet is a wire mesh.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 18 words
A corrugated microporous filter element in accordance with claim 1 wherein said microporous layer comprises a bactericidal agent.
