Abstract POLYAMIDE FIBERS OF RELATIVELY LOW SOIL RETENTIVENESS ARE PROVIDED BY DRAWING THE FIBERS WHILE COATED WITH A LIQUID SUBSTANCE SELECTED FROM THE GROUP CONSISTING OF GLYCEROL, AT LEAST ONE C2-C6 ALKYLENE GLYCOL, AT LEAST ONE POLY(C2-C4 ALKYLENE GLYCOL) HAVING A MOLECULAR WEIGHT BETWEEN 106 AND ABOUT 600 AND MIXTURES THEREOF OVER A DRAWING SURFACE HEATED TO A TEMPERATURE BETWEEN 130% AND 220*C.
