Abstract
Abstract A manufacturing process for a metal bonded porous substance, and of a tool made of it, said substance being obtained by pretreatment of the surface of the particles for a subsequent metal coating step, press-forming the resulting particles to specified size and shape, dipping the press-formed mass of particles thus obtained into a solvent containing a metal salt, and then forcibly passing said solvent through said press-formed mass of particles, thereby precipitating the metal on the surfaces of these particles to bind said particles together.
