Abstract
Abstract A FIELD-EFFECT TRANSISTOR CIRCUIT FOR DETECTING AND AMPLIFYING DIFFERENTIAL DIGITAL SIGNALS. THE INPUT TO THE CIRCUIT INCLUDES TRANSISTORS THAT ISOLATE THE CIRCUIT FROM ITS EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENT WHILE THE INTERNAL CIRCUIT IS BEING INITIALIZED. THEN ON INTERROGATION, CROSS-COUPLED ASYMMETRICAL FETS DETECT WHICH OF TWO INPUT LINES IS FURTHEST REMOVED FROM GROUND POTENTIAL. THE CIRCUIT THEN SUPPLIES AN OUTPUT PULSE OR THE ABSENCE THEREOF DEPENDING ON WHICH INPUT LINE IS FURTHEST REMOVED FROM GROUND.
