Abstract A FUSER CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR USE IN AN ELECTRONIC PRINTER HAVING APPARATUS TO SENSE SIGNALS INDICATIVE OF PAPER OR RECORDING WEB SPEED. OTHER APPARATUS RESPONSIVE TO THE SENSED SIGNALS APPLIES POWER TO THE FUSER WHICH IS PROPORTIONAL TO THE PAPER SPEED. THE POWER APPLIED TO THE FUSER HEATER ELEMENT CONTROLS THE TEMPRATURE TO THE FUSER AND THUS, THE HEAT APPLIED TO FIX DEVELOPED LATENT IMAGES ON THE TRAVELLING PAPER.
