Abstract IN A METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INDICATION GROUPS OF SHEETLIKE ARTICLES OR CARTON BLANKS IN A STREAM OF ARTICLES MOVING ALONG A CONVEYOR ASSEMBLY THE CARTON BLANKS ARE SKEWED TO THEREBY INDICATE THE LAST CARTON BLANK OF A GROUP OF CARTON BLANKS. THE CARTON BLANKS ARE SKEWED UPWARD ROTATION OF A ROLLER WHICH ACCELERATES A PORTION OF A CARTON BLANK. THE ROLLER IS ROTATED IN RESPONSE TO A COUNTER ASSEMBLY RECEIVING A PREDETERMINED NUMBER OF SIGNALS OR PULSES FROM A PHOTOELECTRIC SENSOR ASSEMBLY WHICH DETECTS THE PASSAGE OF THE CARTON BLANKS ALONG THE CONVEYOR ASSEMBLY.
